Caleb is the CEO of Unitech (the higher and further education marketing organisation), a position he has held since 2003.
A livewire in the field of marketing and fund-raising for higher /further education, Caleb obtained a national diploma in marketing management from the Vaal Triangle Technikon. In the same period, he spent time as an exchange student studying for a bachelor of business in marketing management at Charles Sturt University in Australia and an MBA in strategy and global management from the KDI School of Public Policy and Management in South Korea (as a global ambassador fellow).
Before joining Unitech, Caleb worked as head of international relations, then as head of development and fund-raising at the Vaal Triangle Technikon. In the latter capacity he worked on foreign student-exchange programmes and initiated the Africa Refugee Scholarship for students from war-torn African countries. Caleb also has a registered company called Qhubela Holdings, which focuses on sealing intellectual property rights in the IT sector. He also serves as the founder of the Education Advancement Foundation, which focuses on mobilising resources for schools, colleges and sector education and training authorities to fulfil their mandates through bulk advertising and corporate social investment support.
Divorced with three children, Caleb enjoys swinging a golf club or two with his son Nkanyiso and daughter Lunga, and says his Korean experience has made him a sucker for sushi
