After obtaining a degree in sports management, Gcinasonke completed his honours and used his academic marketing experience to carve a career. He went on to work for Volkswagen South Africa and spent the �rst year in different areas of the business. He was most inspired by the month spent working on the production line building cars. Gcinasonke joined the Volkswagen Brand Team's marketing department. Still at VW, he believes that one way to ensure transformation in the workplace is by perseverance. Currently he is brand manager of SEAT of South Africa (SEAT is a car manufacturer under the VWSA stable of brands). Gcinasonke is responsible for developing and implementing marketing, communication and promotional strategies to increase awareness of the SEAT brand in South Africa.
